Good afternoon and welcome to the Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League. The league features 8 teams that represent all areas of the province. Each team plays a 35 game schedule and all 8 teams make the playoffs with the top team playing the last place team and so forth.
The 2006/2007 regular season final standings were as follows:
Weeks Major Midgets 29-4-1-1 = 60pts
Dartmouth Subways 25-8-1-1 = 52pts
Cape Breton West 19-12-4-0 = 42pts
McCain Major Midget 17-14-3-1 = 38pts
South Shore Mustangs 14-17-3-1 = 32pts
Halifax MacDonald's 8-20-6-1 = 23pts*
Cape Breton Tradesmen 9-21-1-4 = 23pts*
Valley Sport Swappers Wildcats 8-21-3-3 = 22pts
*In the five times these teams met, Halifax won 4 and lost 1.

Round 1 Series A - Weeks Major Midgets vs Valley Sport Swappers Wildcats
Round 1 Series B - Dartmouth Subways vs Cape Breton Tradesmen
Round 1 Series C - Cape Breton West vs Halifax MacDonald's
Round 1 Series D - McCain Major Midget vs South Shore Mustangs
The winner of the Nova Scotia championship move on to the Atlantic championships and the winner of the Atlantics move on to the Telus Cup being held in Red Deer, Alberta.
